Unlike the other families sitting on the Commission the Lupisella crime family has it origins in the 'Ndrangheta tradition. Mostly comprised of Italian-Americans of Neopolitan origins in it's early years. As time progressed, however, Italians of different regional background began to be accepted into the gang.
