The Irish Mob is one of the oldest criminal organizations in existence today, being around since the early nineteenth century. All across North America and Europe there have been recorded activities of Irish gangs in large areas such as England, Canada, Boston, Chicago and Los Santos. During Prohibition, active Irish gang fought for control of the bootlegging and illegal gambling rackets. Violent blood baths were a common situation, such as the St. Valentine's Day Massacre organized by Al Capone in the late 1920s which led to the death of a group of Irish gang members.
